Healthy Beef Stir-Fry with Broccoli and Yellow Peppers

For the Beef Stir-Fry:
 500 gr beef sirloin, thinly sliced
 2 tbsp soy sauce (low sodium)
 1 tbsp hoisin sauce
 1 tbsp cornstarch
 2 tbsp vegetable oil (divided)
 2 cloves garlic (minced)
 1 tbsp fresh ginger (minced)
 1 head broccoli (cut into florets)
 1 yellow bell pepper (sliced)
 1 red bell pepper (sliced)
 1 carrot (julienned)
 ½ cup snow peas
 ¼ cup water
 2 green onions (sliced, for garnish)
 sesame seeds (for garnish, optional)
For the Stir-Fry Sauce:
 ¼ cup soy sauce (low sodium)
 2 tbsp oyster sauce
 1 tbsp rice vinegar
 1 tbsp honey
 1 tsp sesame oil
Beef Stir-Fry:

In a bowl, combine the beef, soy sauce, hoisin sauce, and cornstarch. Mix well and let marinate for 10 minutes

Heat 1 tbsp of vegetable oil in a large pan or wok over medium-high heat. Add the beef and stir-fry until browned, about 3-4 minutes. Remove the beef from the pan and set aside.

In the same pan, add the remaining 1 tbsp of vegetable oil. Add garlic and ginger, and stir-fry for 30 seconds until fragrant.

Add broccoli, yellow and red bell peppers, carrot, and snow peas. Stir-fry for 3-4 minutes.

Return the beef to the pan. Add the stir-fry sauce and water, stirring to combine. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the vegetables are tender-crisp.

Garnish with sliced green onions and sesame seeds before serving.

In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, oyster sauce, rice vinegar, honey, and sesame oil until well combined.

Serving:
